With 23 sites already and more planned, Dexters had an increasing requirement for efficient, centralised communications capability. The company had inherited many different telephone systems as part of the acquisition programme, which made management complex and costly, as well as making life more difficult for users - especially those who worked at multiple sites.
Dexters needed to simplify its communications systems. It wanted to find a single provider that could supply not only all the hardware that was required, but that could implement new sites quickly and efficiently, with just one phone call.

After talking at length with Dexters' IT Manager to gain a clear understanding of the business requirements, Avaya and BT delivered a comprehensive and highly advanced communications infrastructure at all sites and at head office, which included Avaya Business Communications Manager 400s , Avaya Business Communications Manager 50s and Avaya Business Series Terminal T7316Es . The individual systems can be centrally managed via Dexters' WAN to simplify overall system management.
